Rumors in the market that Global Investment House is next in line for a makeover. The name in-itself is so generic that it could apply to any investment company in the world. Recently Burgan Bank (Kuwait) launched a marketing campaign to raise awareness and distinguish itself from other local banks. In the case of Global Investment House the re-branding campaign will not be to increase local awareness or competition it will be the global launch of the company onto the world stage.
Rumors in the market that there is lot to be concerned regarding the burgan bank activities.
Recently I had made a complain to the customer care as well as the Shuwaikh residential branch regarding an amount of KD 55/- having been withdrawn in several times,but the bank has not been able to give any satisfactory reply as to how an unauthorised person can withdraw through point of sale, without any approval from the account holder. There is a definite security lapse on the part of the Burgan Bank, but the authorities there don’t want to agree to the same.
So beware, if you are banking with Burgan Bank.
